Post: audio surveillance public place

I work at a bar that has 3 video surveillance cameras in
place for the past year. I recently found out that these
cameras are audio capable and linked somehow to their
home. They admitted that they have been listening to all
conversations at their home. This cannot be legal, can it?
Customers come in and discuss business and personal
issues. I make personal phone calls to family, doctors,
etc. and they have been listening this whole year. What
can I do?
