Hi, my neighbor downstairs has just accused me of stealing
one of her packages. She called the Police and a Police
officer came and I allowed him to search the apartment. I
tried to file a harassment complaint and the officer said
that I couldn't file a harassment complaint. I want to know
if that was the right call on his part. I had informed him
of her previous attempts to kick me out of the apartment
through many complaints to the landlord about my dog,
although I pay an extra 25 dollars a month as a dog fee. I
was also informed by the building supervisor that she made a
complaint with the health department on me for having bags
of cans out on my balcony which she thought was garbage bags
that were rotting. What steps can I take to stop her
harassment?
