Re: Defimation of Character & Harassment

    07/14/2011 - Thursday

Hello All ~ I have not posted in a very long time. I was very
ill when I posted in 2003. I had cancer for two years before
this incident, during it and up until 2005.
Even this has never stopped the harassment and lies, not even
when I was going through chemo and almost died more than once.
I consider these harassers cold blooded heartless monsters.

It usually starts with neighbors we do not know, harassing us
with their monster kids. Then parents show up accussing us of
lies. I have so many video tapes, it's confusing. The police
have done very little and usually take the side of the lying
parents. I do believe this is retaliation and the police and
volunteers are behind it because of comments made to me by some
of the officers. Or, they are being paid by a grassroots
    organization in the area.
We will no longer answer questions to the police about our video
surveillance system, how we collect evidence, etc. All
information seems to end up in the neighborhood and it is
    jeopardizing our safety.
I cannot walk in my own neighborhood without being verbally or
    physically attacked.

I refuse to answer the door when an officer shows up at my house
and I am home alone. Since one of the officers we welcomed into
our home told a neighbor around the corner what is in my house,
we no longer allow the police into our home.
One officer told me I was a troublemaker and needed to move out
of the country. This was in 2004. I was actually dying by then
and didn't have the energy to do whatever I was accused of. I
was even in my blue bathrobe when the officer showed up at the
    door.
Another officer has told me I am ridiculous for telling people
    this.
Still another officer came to the door after I took video to the
police department of harassment while trying to drive out of my
neighborhood. He frightened me, accused me of sitting across the
street from some house and video taping 'twins' playing in the
front yard. I was afraid this officer was going to hurt me. My
husband pulled out the camcorder and showed him video of me
being harassed by kids just trying to drive out of the
neighborhood. One girl tried to open my car door and yank me out
and when that didn't work, she tried to grab my video camera.
Then three boys came up on bicycles, two I recognized, but I did
not know the oldest boy with tattoos who was video taping me in
my car with his cell phone and laughing at me.
I asked who was making the complaint and the officer refused to
give me the person's name. Said he was protecting them!
As he walked off, he made the comment, 'Too bad you don't like
    cops.'

I have tried to press charges on the harassers and I am ignored
by the police. Many times they will not even respond to calls by
me or my husband and I have been rudely treated or even talked
to by dispatchers in an unprofessional manner.

The lying neighbors and their kids, many of them, even realtors
who we have video taped hanging around our house at night,
trying to find ways around our video survallence system,
continue to try and have me falsely arressted or committed. They
have even lied to my relatives about me.

I have video from an incident in May where some of these
neighbors were yelling at me, calling me a 5150, telling me to
go back on my meds, etc. Many of them do not live in our
neighbohood. All along their kids were present taking pictures
of me in my own front yard, laughing at me, etc. I have heard
    these same verbal attacks before.

The officer that came out would not press any charges and
nothing was done. The harassment continued for hours after that,
even though we had gone inside our house. If I go sit out in the
front yard, the harassment begins and continues until I go
    inside.
I have not been able to afford a lawyer and I doubt there is any
who would help us. One lawyer told us we were breaking the law
videotaping the kids harassing us, even with a pocket bike in
    front of the house.
Another officer told us he doubted a judge would issue a
restraining order for people yelling at me, and especially
    against kids harassing me.

We have lived here for eleven years now and still, I have never
been arrested and I have never been committed for being mentally
ill. The past neighborhood we lived in for fourteen years and
before that four years in another neighborhood and even before
that four years where we ended up giving our new house to my
brother because of a murder next door and harassment from a drug
gang. We could not sell a house that had had a murder next door,
no one wanted to live there.
The harassment follows us no matter where we move, so we are
staying put and the harassment is out in the open for all to see
now. I believe most of the neighbors are part of the harassment.

One officer commented that she was glad she didn't live near us.
She told me it was a grassroots organization living on grant
funds that was paid to do the harassing by people, possibly
criminals, in the community. I know many have criminal records.

My husband and I have live in this area over 50 years and have
    always been harassed.
I once volunteered with the local Sheriff's dept. and committed
no crime. I quite due to harassment.

We have been told numerous times to get restraining orders. What
a waste of money! I really doubt the police would even take the
    violators into custody.

I was told many times that I should write a book about incidents
in my life. Are there any ghost writers willing to take the
story? Possibly help me put together a video or even a news
    story?

God help any of you going through this same targeting.

Ric ~ Again, thank you for your advise. I was and am actually
afraid to even walk into a police department by myself and
everyone who knows what I am going through, is also afraid.
I did go to the Sheriff's dept. in 2004 and they did not find
many incident calls and supposedly nothing on me, except I had
applied for a concealed weapons permit.
Seems the Sheriffs weren't keeping records. An article appeared
in the local newspaper about the lack of record keeping by the
    department.
