    Probably if done in good faith but just to be safe I would
    give it to the postal delivery person or your post office
    with the forwarding information you have. If the post office
    has forwarding info supplied by the recipient, they will use
    the info in there files otherwise they may decide to use your
    info or just return it. If the item is not first class it
    may require additional postage for forwarding.
