Just wondering

If my daughter keeps receiving mail from an inmate
currently in prison, can I open it for safety and security
of my house or daughter. Also he is a sex offender and has
been ordered to stay clear of my daughter, who is NOT the
victim. Also my daughter stays in trouble and continues to
correspond with this man. I have concerns about my house
and family when he is released. having these thoughts, just
wonering if thats enough cause to read her letters. He is
24 and she is 24 years of age.

Please advise
