i went to the doctor today for a drug test through my
employer and i was there for about 2 hours. after being
back at work for 10 min. the receptionist came back to my
office with papers in her hand and said you have alot of
things wrong with you uhh?? i really didn't know what she
was talking about at first until she handed me the papers
and realized it was a fax of my medical history from the
doctors office i had just came from??? in which it stated
my social and my health problems and my parents???? i was
not informed nor have i ever had any doctors office fax
personal information like that. and it wasn't the results
because they had to be mailed out to the lab it was just
my medical info??? isn't this a hippa violation???? also
no where on the papers i signed said they would be faxing
my medical info....
