Post: internet fraud

I have been having problems with a buyer of some goods sold on auction site, Ebay. I sold the goods to the buyer, after 3 days he was threatening me with a solicitor because they items had not been received yet. I clearly stated in the auction 10-18 days to receive the goods. He received the goods 5 days after the auction end, and is now saying he doesent want them, he wants a refund. He says the goods are not as discribed, yet it was all clearly stated in the auction. He is now saying if i do not refund his money in 48 hours he will have me charged with internet fraud. I have contacted him serveral times asking for a solution to this problem, I have offered to repay his money, but stated that I could not afford to repay it all in one hit, but I would pay it off. I offered him to go through small claims to seek the refund, I would be happy with this. Does he have any grounds for legal action?
