Post: using wrong address to defraud

Posted by carrie on 2/12/06
I have a situation where I am POA for someone along with 2 others, I found out that they have used their POA rights and had info. in my name sent to their address instead of mine. I assume so I would not know what they are up to, (the POA is written up in a way that no one is above anyone else, any of us can act independently of the other) foolish on the part of the lawyer who set it up but that is besides the point. My question: is this a crime, tampering with US mail?? Mail Fraud?? I have never lived at the address in which the mail is being sent. The case in point is them attempting to get the pension of the person they are POA over, and they don't want me to have access to the info. but I found out anyway. Do I have any legal recourse against them through Mail Fraud or Tampering laws, I kind of need to know ASAP if anyone can help
