Post: Employer stealing mail

Posted by DoomDuck on 5/08/06
I know that I've read on here that it is NOT illegal for
your employer to open your personal (or any) mail sent to
their place of business, but what if they're stealing it? I
had some of my personal mail (some movies from Columbia
house) sent to my work because I live in an apartment and it
was just easier to get them at work. I don't have time
during the day to run to the post office to pick them up.
The only people that check the mail there are me and my
boss. When my movies weren't showing up I asked the postman
if he remembered delivering them and he said he most
certainly did. This leads me to believe that my boss is
stealing my mail.
Is there anyway he can get in trouble for this?
