On 8/11/08, I was involved in a Front End Head On Collision in a 96
Toyota Tercel. I purchased this vehicle for my daughter some years
ago.
My youngest daughter and I were merging out of the medium into traffic
on a very busy two-lane highway. The 4x4 Laredo Jeep-Truck that hit
our Tercel, made an improper left turn into the medium from the
opposite direction. The Truck owner and I,felt the traffic was
allowing both our vehicles the right away at the same time. The Jeep-
Truck hit our Tercel going over 50 miles per hour, as he came across
the two lane highway quickly into medium. The truck owner's intention
was to quickly make his way into his targeted lane before the on
coming traffic arrived. As a result,The front end of the Tercel was
completely destroyed.
Needless to say, I am waiting for the Airbag to deploy to this day. I
suffered a bump on the head, and my daughter bruised her chest. So
far, we can only tell our injuries are minor at this point.
Thank God
I'm In,
Hardy
