    We have asked if ANS is having quality problems?
    " Oh No"
    There is a person w/ severe pain due to nerve damage, and
    good response to a trial.

    The cervical lead was implanted, w/ the rechargeable pulse
    generator. The generator would become hot, so it was
    replaced (2nd surgery); then the brand new recharg. state-
    of-the-art pulse generator stopped working. The ANS co. has
    assessed the unit multiple times and have admitted that
    there is an intrinsic problem w/i the programmer. They
    however are not responding to the uncomfortable questions
    except- "No we have not had problems, and this back to back
    incident in the same patient is a first, we are very sorry".

    Meanwhile that person is going to have everthing taken out
    and have anew system put in (3rd surg).
