    I had an ans system implanted in 2000. I haven't had any
    problems, but I have the one where the battery is on the
    outside. Is that an option for you? I have to admit that the
    programmer and antennae that is over the implant is a little
    annoying, but I can just use it at night now and I can still
    feel the effects during the day. I am hope this procedure will
    be the last for you.
