Re: pip breast implants
Posted by Kathy on 11/03/08
I have PIP saline implants. The right one ruptured and deflated less than a year after the original surgery in 1999. (It was replaced with another PIP implant in 2000.) Now, eight years later, the left one just ruptured on October 13, 2008, during a mammogram. Two ruptures in eight years is lawsuit material. Is anyone aware of a class action lawsuit against PIP.America? I know they are no longer in business, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are exempt from liability.
