Re: pip breast implants

I had my PIP saline implants done in California in 1998. The doc was so excited because they were new and "natural" and had a lifetime guarantee on the implant material. I found him through a Mommy group I belonged to and was able to see his work beforehand - I'm told he did a great job and have had many compliments. I had a mammogram early October and a week later noticed the right side was slightly smaller. It's been almost two months and it is now half gone - I'm having trouble finding a plastic surgeon, finding a way for Epic Imaging to repair it or finding if I should go to the manufacturer of the implants even though I found out they are out of business. Have had a fever and headache since then, but didn't connect the two until now. This is honestly the first I've heard that 10 years is the life expectancy of implants - is that even true? I'm in Oregon now so if anyone out there knows of a plastic surgeon here - that would be great! Being lopsided has me walking in circles .... and On 11/19/08, Kathy wrote: > On 11/15/08, maeve wrote: >> On 11/03/08, Kathy wrote: >>> I have PIP saline implants.
