Linda, thank you for your posting! Please, do give us more details
about your case. I am certain that others would like to read about
them. You are FAR FROM ALONE! There have been countless Toyota
owners who have experienced MORE THAN ONE SLUDGE EPISODE. I
corresponded with one Toyota owner who was about to have to put in
a THIRD ENGINE in his vehicle at the time the "Customer Support
Program for Engine Oil Gelation" was implemented (or not as the
    case may be!).

I'd like to know more about what you mean about the lawsuit
guidelines. What were the Toyota dealership's exact words? You
might not be surprised that other Toyota owners have come forward
to tell about repair denials under the CSP. Just who is overseeing
this program anyway? Is the government involved? No, apparently
not. Toyota said it would have this program so the government let
it be. Is Toyota pulling the wool over the government's eyes? Who
really knows? What we do know is that Toyota owners are
consistently complaining about repair denials and rude behavior at
    Toyota dealerships.

What about all those Toyotas that aren't passing the state
emissions testing? Yes, some of the very models affected by the
sludge problem! What is the connection between sludge and
pollution? We do know that the sludge causing a great deal of
smoke from the tailpipe. We do know that owners report oil
analyses that reveal high nitration within the recommended oil
change interval. Who is monitoring this? We know that there is a
lot of bragging about Toyota vehicles being GREEN. Well, yes, the
thick tailpipe smoke is blue-gray-green, I guess you could say!

What Toyota does is Toyota's business...until it denies the
warranty repairs due to its valued customers. Toyota owners
shouldn't have to put up with this runaround. This company is
making Toyota owners jump through hoops to get a repair that should
be done via a national RECALL instead of a voluntary (often
rejected) case-by-case claim! Something is very wrong about this
    whole scenario, isn't it?

Thank you for coming forward if you have experienced Toyota
sludge. I have the sense that this issue is far greater than this
company says it is. But...who would know...Toyota won't release
the updated complaint numbers! Have you checked out
http://www.consumeraffairs.com? You won't believe how many sludge
victims are speaking up right now! And...there are models and
model years not included in Toyota's not-so-generous CSP. What
about that? What do these owners get in terms of relief? NOTHING!

Were I one of these vehicle owners, I'd be speaking up often and
loudly. I'd be networking with lots and lots of other owners and
comparing notes, too. Why aren't some other models included in the
sludge campaign? After all, Corolla owners have cited significant
oil consumption for years...not to mention blown engines!

And...what about all thost 4Runner owners? Did they get relief
from that SSC? OR, are they still bitter over the multiple head
gasket failures? Should a recall have been called for this
problem? Or, did the government lay low when Toyota said it would
    initiate the SSC? Hmmm...I wonder.

Major engine problems are unacceptable! Does Toyota understand
this? Is it true that if you squelch the complainers you can
continue to sell the hype to the buying public? I don't really
know. However, I do know that someone is spending a whole lot of
time attempting to discredit my information, not to mention
personally attack me. For what reason? Toyota owners...do you
    wonder why, too?
