Roger, I'd like to suggest that you might be a tad;-) (understatement!) obsessed
with my postings. I realize you are pro-corporate as opposed to pro-consumer.
So be it. You have every right to be, but you need to understand that thousands
of Toyota owners LOST THEIR ORIGINAL VEHICLE WARRANTIES due to premature engine
failure due to sludge.
If you are unable to be empathetic to this viewpoint, I suggest that you be
willing to speak to just a handful of these owners to truly understand their
predicaments. Perhaps then you might be able to show some human compassion, to
understand that a failed engine is a "big deal" more than financially, to see the
true impact of the loss of the second biggest (for most) investment these owners
have made in their lives.
One reason that I have garnered respect and credibility is that I don't attack
personally when I post. I don't see any point in this way of doing things. In
addition, I don't give up when I know something is right. It is right to stand
by the countless Toyota owners who have tried to get relief from the company
unsuccessfully. It is right to connect their experiences so that more
information about this problem is gleaned. It is right (not to mention
appropriate) to keep the dialogue going. The CSP does not begin to benefit all
the owners who have experienced premature engine failure in a Toyota. IF Toyota
follows through (remember NO AGENCY is monitoring this follow through), then only
some are given repair relief. Owner follow-up information reveals that the CSP
makes Toyota customers jump through hoops only to find out that there is a
loophole for the company.
There are still too many unanswered questions in this saga. Won't you help the
Toyota owners uncover more, Roger?
