Wow! Such anger over talk about premature engine failures...I can't
fathom why you might experience such emotion when I post about Toyota
engine oil sludge. "Alarmist babble?" What do you mean? There is a
major engine problem which predisposes relatively low mileage engines
to the development of engine oil sludge. "Mindless speculation?" To
the contrary...it is a very analytical approach to thousands of
Toyota owners posted experiences with this problem. One is always
wise to use the data collected by those affected. Why would one do
anything else?
Who is the "we" about which you speak? Several new Toyota owners
have come forward in this very forum to acknowledge that they, too,
have experienced Toyota engine oil sludge. The RAV4 owner won't be
happy to find that this vehicle is NOT covered under Toyota's CSP.
He is far from alone as there are other RAV4 owners who have
experienced this malady. There are plenty of Corolla owners who have
been posting about greater than normal engine oil consumption and
smoke increase for YEARS! Toyota 4Runner owners have complained
about engine oil sludge in addition to failed head gaskets (some
multiple failures). Are you supportive of these Toyota owners? Or,
are you here to make sure that their stories do NOT get out?
The primary "hyperbole" has been that I somehow single-handedly
orchestrated the Toyota engine oil hoax. What absurdity! Let it be
clearly known...there is no hoax here. I am not alone when I state
that I believe the problem is far more widespread than what we have
been led to believe; countless Toyota vehicle owners have made this
observation.
It seems that Toyota engine oil sludge hits a raw nerve for some.
They don't want the matter to be discussed further among Toyota
vehicle owners; they don't want any further investigation into the
matter. That's fine, but such opinion isn't enough to silence those
who believe otherwise.
You might consider channeling your anger into action. Seek out those
who hacked the number one ranked "The Complaint Station for Toyota"
in order to silence the very vocal Toyota owners. Seek out those who
wish to limit the freedom of speech of those seeking information from
other Toyota owners. Seek out those who wish to limit the Toyota
owners engine oil sludge online discussion and ask them, "Why?"
