Re: Sticking Sliding Doors in the Toyota Sienna
Posted by Connie Chapman on 8/21/07

NO NEED TO BE FRUSTRATED. MY HONDA VAN HAD A SIMILAR STICKING PROBLEM
WITH THE SLIDING DOORS. ALL THAT WAS NEEDED WAS A LITTLE LUBRICANT ON
THE LATCH MECHANISM. IT TOOK ALL OF 5 MINUTES TO FIX THE PROBLEM.
YOU SAY IT'LL COST $1700 PLUS PARTS TO REPAIR? I FIND THAT AN
EXAGGERATION. EITHER YOU HAVE BEEN MISLED BY WHOEVER QUOTED THAT
PRICE, OR YOU YOURSELF ARE NOT BEING HONEST ABOUT IT.
I AM DUBIOUS ABOUT YOUR STORY BECAUSE IT SOUNDS FISHY TO ME.
