Re: Sticking Sliding Doors in the Toyota Sienna
Posted by Debbie on 9/07/07
Mr. Scott, If you like, I can email you a copy of my receipt, dated today, for the FOUR door handles that I just purchased from the Toyota dealer in my area. I ordered them on the day I originally posted this message and they came in today. I paid $335 for the four handles and then will pay another $400 to my mechanic to install them. I have no reason to make up a story or facts. I'm just stating the truth about my own experience and you are very rude and presumptuous to call me a liar. I have absolutely no reason to lie and, in fact, since I had researched many, many vehicles and came to the conclusion that my Toyota would be a good buy, my initial compulsion would be to defend my decision. However, the vehicle speaks for itself and I have no other motive than to inform other people of the possible problems they could face if they make the same decision I did. I truly hope that if you are a Toyota owner, that your experience has been better than mine. If so, good for you. Either way, you have no place assuming that mine, or any other claims, are untrue. I can assure you that every single thing I said is true and 100% accurate. This is the first time I have ever posted on a website like this and I have not posted anything else on this site or any other before. This is just an honest account of my own experience. And, by the way, I have never received any compensation of any kind from Toyota for the problems I have encountered. Although I believe that there are some major design flaws that have caused these problems, I personally have not benefited from any legal proceedings that have taken place.
