Re: Werner pull down attic ladder

Two weeks ago I nearly amputated my little finger on a Werner attic ladder hinge. It is not their fault that I lost my balance on the ladder, but they MUST either bullnose the edges of the metal or provide a plastic sheath to put on the metal parts once the ladder is installed. Five hours of microscopic surgery allowed the surgeon to reconnect tendon, nerves, and a completely severed bone in the finger. The outcome remains to be seen.
