My daughter was stowing some things away in our attic today and i
heard this crash. She had fell to the garage floor due to a broken
hinge ( bottom right side) on the (Werner) model S2210. Ankle is
swollen at this point, may take her in to see doc. I'm mad as hell
after reading that this issue has been a problem for quite some
time now with no notification of a recall. I will be reporting this
to the comsumer protection agency as well as with the Werner
company, if that will do any good. The ladder is useless now with a
broken hinge. I'll update after i call Werner!
