Re: Werner S2208 300lb Capacity hinge shear

On Nov. 27, 2011, my attic stair Model S2208 right side hinge broke and
rendered the staircase useless. I called Werner and am awaiting a
response. The casting of the hinge snapped under only my weight. I will
repost when I receive Werner Co. reply. I am not holding my breath.
