My Werner S2210 MK2 attic ladder broke some time ago. When
it initially broke, my now ex-husband said he called Werner
and they wouldn't do anything. I've been worried about
having to replace the ladder because I can't do it myself...
plus I didn't want to spend the money to buy a whole new
ladder. Thanks to this chatboard, I called Werner again and
this time they offered to send a repair kit. It should be
here in 7 to 10 days at no charge. I'm not sure what the
other posters said to get Werner to replace theirs, but they
wouldn't do it for me.

No more proping the broken side up on a stepstool to get
into the attic! Has anyone here installed the repair kit?

I also reported the issue to CPSC.
