Re: 03 Expedition airbags DID NOT DEPLOY !!!

On February 22 of 2011 my son lost control of a 1997 Ford
Explorer on his way back to school for an after shool activity
around 4:00 pm. He over corrected his driving and ended up
fliping the Ford Explorer on its side.
My son had a massive head injury where he sustained a blow to
the head. He is going through so much lately dealing with the
accident and recovering from his injuries. I am greatful that
he is recovering. However, in looking over the pictures of the
truck for the insurance claim, I noticed that the air bag in the
seat he was in did not deploy. The Ford fliped on its side and
head a utility pole dead on yet the air bag never depoloyed and
could have saved my son from the head injuries he sustained. Is
there such an issue with Ford, the Expedition and with it's air
bags. If so where would I start. It was alarming to hear of
similar stories and that there is still nothing has been done.
I am not even aware of any recall's.
