We have a failure of a "Baquacil" dispenser unit. The unit is designed to dispense a chemical into a pool to replace the use of chlorine. In small quantities, as a known polutant, it works fine, however in dispensing large quantity of chemical into the pool water, it foams and the residual cannot be removed from pool surfaces and tile. The pool requiring a sanding and replasterine and removal and replacement of tile. The pool is not usable in the damaged condition. It appears that the dispensing apparatus failed causing the damage.
