Post: Med Tronic Neuro Stimulator

Has anyone out in cyberspace had difficulty with repeated
infections in the pocket in the body that was created for
the Med-Tronic Neurostimulator generator?

My daughter has just had to have the second generator
removed due to infection. The generator works great and she
has seen a huge decrease in pain in her legs. However, her
pocket continually keeps getting infected. They are
culturing staph aureus each time. She has been in the
hospital five times since September, 2007.

If anyone has had a similar experience, please share. If
anyone had been able to conquer this problem, I would
greatly appreciate how you overcame the problem.
