    Lee,

I had the permanent ANS implanted 3 weeks ago and suffered
nerve damage (per the Dr.) in the process in addition to
finding out last week that the leads are also sitting on top
of my nerves (per the Dr. & x rays) causing "additional"
pain. The doctor who installed the SCS says I need to go to a
Neurosurgeon now to have him redo the surgery. I visited with
a Neurosurgeon yesterday who informed me he would not & has
NEVER installed SCS because case studies show that SCS ONLY
works for 6 months and then the patient is forced to have it
surgically removed. Have you ever heard of this? What were
you told in regard to how long the SCS would provide you with
pain relief? A year, five years, life time, etc? Please
respond, this is my first attempt at this
    forum.............Thank you in advance:)
