Vanessa,
I was wondering what happened? Did you have the implant for
pain reduction? Did you use it for any period of time? When
did you stop using it and why? Did anyone tell you why you
had the spinal cord bleeding ? Was it due to the leads being
implanted and not being used? I have the unit installed
along with a 16 point lead. They put it at the T9 area and i
would like to know a little bit more about what and why it
might have happened. My unit provides me with about 50-60&
pain reduction but i have to have it on almost all the time.
This is the first message that i have seen about this type
of problem and i was hoping that you could share your story
with us so that we might get a little insite to a new
problem with the unit or leads and also that we are not only
a little more informed but that we also might be able to ask
questions to our Dr's and medtronic tech about this issue
and the possibality that it could happen to us.

I am sorry for what has happened to you and hope that you
are able to still live a happy and joyful life.

I know that the above sounded to be a little off i know that
your life has changed now being paralysed and nothing that i
can do or say will change that but i still hope that your
life will be a good one.
