    Ann,

I had a good trial period also. However, after the surgery in
recovery I awoke with rib and shoulder blade pain. One year
after the installation I had the battery pack only removed.
Now after 4 more years of pain, I am scheduled for 12/15/2008
to have the leads removed due uncontrolled pain still. The
doctor told me in recovery that I just could not tolerate
pain. Now I have tolerated the pain for 5 years. No, I don't
know of any legal action being taken, but I would love to know
how many of these stimulators was installed and the patient is
not doing well. The fear I have is that the Dr tells me they
will have to remove more bone to have the leads removed which
is scarey. Hope you and I both find help. All I can advise
is to seek God's Devine guidance.
