Tami If everyone who has even had a slight problem with the stimulators would contact the FDA and file a complaint, you would all have a chance. I say "you" because so far I have avoided having one in my back so far. They did put one in my ankle as a trial and I ended up with a horrible infection. All I hear from the doctors are Medtronics Stimulator is your only hope but I feel it is not even an option after reading everyones responses. If we can't sue Medtronics then everyone who contacts the FDA will have a profound effect on making things better for all of us. All the docs getting kick backs from the medical device companies won't have a product to push that hurts us in the long run. Medtronics knows they can't be sued so they don't care how many lives they screw up. Its not just us in pain going thru the surgery but the lives around us and the people we have to depend on to help us heal. I'm the single parent of a 12 year old. I couldn't imagine putting my son thru any more surgeries or asking him to help me any longer. His childhood is being robbed. My family and friends who have helped out even now have lives as well and can't go thru 2-8 surgeries with me to get rid of the pain. PLEASE FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FDA!!!
