Post: prednisone causing AVN

After being on prednisone for a lengthy period of time I was
diagnosed with advanced vascular necrosis of hips and
osteoporosis of hips and spine. I just have had first total
hip replacement. I was never informed of the risks from
taking prednisone for long periods of time, I myself took
myself off the drug because how I was physically feeling,
even surgeon said the severity of hip damage (AVN)is seen
from high doses and long usage of steroids/prednisone. My
question is this are there any class action suits pending
due to the drug usage? And do any of you know of any local
atty's handling the class action suit? Sally
