I have the same kind of problem. I had a stimulator put in
on dec 22 2008. the battery implaint that I had done was
also too close to the skine. I have had it raplaced (moved)
and am still ahaving great pain. It has only been four weeks
and I am hopeing it will get better.

apparently this is my fault for not following directions.
( according to the doc)
however this is only the tip of the ice berg for me.

Whating for the pain to go away, In Indiana
