    Cathy, I am FASCINATED by your post. And by that I don't
    mean to insult you, honestly something very similar happened
    to me. I was implanted Dec 10 of '08 was unbelievably
    careful and 10 days after surgery the leads slipped. I was
    in such bad shape from what the surgery did to me, I
    couldn't have another for a while. But months later, after
    I turned off the device because the battery was
    electrocuting me 24/7, I noticed I'd feel stim sensations
    and the battery would be draining...even though it was 100%
    off. I too had an xray and at that point the leads had
    slipped so low that they were causing the battery to turn on
    (they were literally the same height as the battery-having
    fallen inches). End of story, the whole thing was useless
    and an awful experience. I was implanted with ANS last
    week. So far, pretty good!
