I had surgery on my spine in Nov, 2008 and in March 2009 I
had an infection that required me to go to an infectious
disease doctor. The culture was sent to a hospital in
Denver, CO and came back as some kind of TB bacteria
around the left screw. The doctor told me I would have to
take antibotics for about 6 months. I have had reactions
to 3 of so far. I am not taking anything at this time.I
have requested all my medical reports and do not have them
with me at this time and cannot give you the technical
name other than Medtronic was used in the report. Now I
am going to have surgery again to get all the hardware
out. Has anyone ever heard of this? My other doctors are
in cannot beleive any of this has happened.
