Post: the effects of prednisone on my body

I am 38 year old male, who once led a very active
lifestyle. Ive been taking prednisone since september of
2006. I had a asthma attack and was rushed to the hospital,
where i was treated with prednisone;being told in THE LONG
TERM its not good for your body. 3 1/2 years later i have
Avascular necrosis of BOTH hips, i need BOTH hips replaced,
my life has undergone a drastic change! It pains me to
laydown, more or less walk;im not even sure if i can return
to college for the upcoming semester....very disappointed.
Why would drug makers put something out on the market that
does this to you!
