ABS brake failure in the Sienna has resulted in many postings
here. When you travel in light snow or light rain, the brake
may make a *grinding* noise followed by a noise that sounds
like a large metal spring uncoiling. Then, the van will slide
forward despite braking action taken.

Submit a petition to the NHTSA to open an defects
investigation into this matter. You are far from alone!

There were lots of postings here before but now an "error"
message appears when you try to open the links.
