I to have been afflicted with this abomination of a drug,
i have been asmathic since i was born, at age 12/13 i was
told to take the thing as needed and only told a few of
the minor side effects, weight gain, increased heart rate,
i got was told puberty may come later than usual and there
was the chance of impotence but that was all....when i was
25 i got a new doctor, who found out how much i was taking
and freaked out explained and got me down to an almost ok
level ( i have chronic asthma so i will never be free but
its quite rare now but any is to much)
but by this stage i had been taking maybe 15-20gm per yr
(not counting injections and IV from hospital admissions)
for 20 years i have had excessive use now and 12 months
ago was diagnosed with AVN of the R hip level 3, been
waiting for 8 months now for a T.H.R,

I had 5 family doctors 2 specialists and 3 hospitals (time
spent in ICU )from 12-26 yrs and never was i told about
possible bone degeneration or cushings syndrome and have
spent the best yrs of my life impotent and living in fear
of ridicule as well as the physical pain caused by
Avascular Necrosis the mental damage far outways it, i
have no quality of life and refuse to take oxycontin for
obvious reasons so im always in pain
and want desperately to make the makers feel the pinch as
well there are numbers on this page and if we started a
class act we would get some where but its now time to start
pls get in touch let me know what you know and where we go
from here???
