The lady I work for, Jane, and represent here, has had the exact same replacements! I was actually researching current class action suits and have had no positive responses from people because the side effects ARE listed with the pharmacy info and in the teensy weensy print on the Prednisone information. One young girl who was also effected said that it is the patient's responsibility to know about the medications that one takes and also be aware of all the side effects ~ YOU take the risks when taking medications. Jane has 2 PHD"s ~ a smart lady and yet took Prednisone for years for her intestinal disorder (some people think that the ailment their fighting is so horrible that they'll do anything and take the risks with meds that could alleviate it but find that the side effects are worse than their original disorder! But Prednisone's are apparently practically a death sentence in terms of your health!) It's really a terrible dichotomy! I would love to find someone who could communicate by phone with Jane ~ that has gone through what she is going through and be a friend, supporter and help her to feel like she is not alone with her troubles. If you or someone can help than please forward your email directly and at the least I could send copies of the emails to her to respond (if not comfortable calling) ~ it would be such a comfort to her to connect with others! She is starting to lose her usual optimism ~ this Necrosis is insidious! sbwilliams@kc.rr.com
