Well it has happened to me. I just stepped onto the ladder
when the right bottom hinge sheared. Fortunately I was not
up but 2 steps and was not injured. I could see how this
could hurt someone who is higher up. I saved the sheared
piece and took some pictures. I also notified Werner and
will be interested in their response.
