Post: Medtronic Spinal Cord Stimulator
Posted by Sabrina Yannitell on 3/02/11
I had a Medtronic spinal cord stimulator installed a little over a year ago. I have had nothing but problems and my battery pack is petruding and you can see it and feel it on my front side. The doctor bugged me for a year to have this put in telling me I would be a great candidate for this and I would be able to get off my pain medication if I had this installed and I would be able to go back to work and do other things I could not do because of the pain. Now I am unable to get an appointment with medtronics representative to get reprogramming, my battery will not recharge, and it feels like something is stabbing me in my back constantly where the leads are. The doctor tells me that my body is just used to the machine that is why it does not work. If anyone can get an attorney to help I would be willing to join in the lawsuit as well. I am now living with nerve damage and in constant pain since the doctor will not even take the machine out of me.
