My daughter is almost 3 she turns 3 this july. Her dad has
not been a part of her life at all. He's not even on her
birth certificate. We live 4 blocks from each other and he
has never even tried to see her. I am trying to apply for
medicade and have to file for child support and I do not
have any intentions of filing for support from him. He is
unemployed and does nothing to make money. So is it
possible for me to just file for sole custody?
We live in Nevada and I read some where that as long as he
is completely absent for a minimum of 2 years I am
concidered to have sole custody.
