Post: massive pain from medtronics back stimulator trial
Posted by Richard Wagner on 4/22/11
After three back operations and chronic lower back pain I was told by my Doctor I needed to try the Medtronic back stimulator. After the procedure was finished I went home and was resting on my bed. After about an hour or so really severe pain set in my lower back. The pain continued to increase as time went by becomming worse and worse, so I called my doctor who told me to call him the next mornning if the pain continued. After not sleeping that night I called him first thing A.M. and prescribed brak through med. to help with the pain and said it would get better in a day or two. The pain was so bad I had to have the wires removed seven days later. The moment the wires were removed the pain went back to where it was before the trial. Has any one ever experienced this same reaction ?????
