Re: massive pain from medtronics back stimulator trial

I have been suffering severe pain since 2007. Long story short; I had major back surgery in 2010 on lower back, doctor performed infusions. Pain is far worse!! Then surgeon detected a cyst in middle of back. It was removed, and he implanted the Medtronic Nerve Stimulator. Pain is FAR WORSE!!! I have been in his office at least 3 times since the stimulator was implanted, to receive adjustments, to which all adjustments have failed. The doctors told me prior to surgery, if the temporary stimulator relieves my pain, then the permanent stimulator is recommended, and will work. Well, the temporary stimulator is not the same as the permanent one. The temporary stimulator removed 100% of the pain I suffered. Now the permanent stimulator is implanted, the doctor, nor Medtronics rep is able to adjust the stimulator to work effectively. The Medtronic Reps act as if they are being inconvenianced, and their attitude is less than professional. I have this device in my body, and it does not work effectively. I suffer worse than before. I have additional pains. The doctor seems to be bothered by my concerns. This is discusting. Unfortunately, I will suffer the rest of my life, while the doctors are lining their pockets. I wake up every morning, and not able to just get up. My hips, lower back and legs hurt horribly, and to convince the doctor of this, is a JOKE. Thank you for allowing me to AT LEAST vent.
