My brother was treated with prednisone for years alreadt
due to his bronchiectasis. Because of prolonged therapy, he
now has drug-induced osteoporosis. Bad news is, he was also
diagnosed of pathologic fracture of the vertebrae that is
now causing him problems from hips to lumbosacral regions
and he mostly sits on a wheelchair because his walking
activity has also been affected.
