I was diagnosed over two years ago with occupational asthma
and have been on steroids since then. My pulmonary doctor
at one point had me on 100 milligrams of prednisone a day
along with other steroids so I could breathe. I am now on
my second Pulmonary doctor as the first doctor did not know
after 1 1/2 years how to treat me any longer. The second
doctor at the first visit said, I think you are on too much
medicine. At that point I had been weaning myself off this
terrible drug and was down to 15 milligrams a day. Thru
this time I developed dental issues and have lost 80
percent of my teeth. I have shrunk three inches and have
two bone density test. My left hip comes out of the socket
and because I have shrunk so fast, my L1-L5 are compressed
putting pressure on my disk which radiates the pain down
the left side of my leg. And now my right side is starting
to hurt. Being a comp. case I can not get the proper
medical care that I need. This drug along with the other
steroids have aged me twenty years in two years. I need
help and can't seem to get it. I have reached out to the
Governor, state legislatures,congress representative,
lawyers in our area, and local goverment officials. I also
have from this drug Osteropenia. My life consists of for
the most part living in bed. I will continue to voice my
severe side affects from this poisonous drug until I get
help.
