    Post: Boston Scientific

Back in 2008/2009 I had a Boston Scientific Stimulator
implanted in my lower left side of my back, this was to
control te back pain from a disc replacement surgery. As
well as to control pain in my right foot after having a few
surgies to it. I opted for the stimulator, only after being
placed on morphine, methadone, trazadone. Which I took
myshelf off of,because taking them as I was prescribed to
almost killed me. Anyway about three months after the
implant. I was diagnoised with ulcerative colitis. It has
effected me on the same side the implant is on.The colitis
hospitalized me twice, once for a week and again for 10
days. I kept returning to my pain management doctor at the
time. Who kept calling in Boston Scientific and there
technicians would come in and check the unit and we would
adjust signal strenghth and location. When asked both the
doctor and the technicians said the the problem was not
related to the implant. However, due to a faulty charging
unit I haven't been unable to charge or use the unit at
all. I have since been to another pain management doctor
and again the Boston Scientific Tech's came, they had tried
to charge the unit for about an hour and a half with no
results. So it was the decided I needed a new charger and
between Boston Scientifc wanting me to allow them to not
use my benefits and do it there way.Which I refused. And
paperwork not making it to the right place. I'am still
without a charging unit. When asked about the
warranty, because they give you a five year warranty, the
charger $3,000.00 is not Covered, nor is the remote
$2,000.00.However the implant is, so I said the implant
does not work. Which is true . How could it without being
properly charged, they blew me off. But I do have an
appointment with a NeuroSurgeon. The colitis does seem to
be getting better. The meds I take have not worked very well
for me in the past. The only difference is no Stim. So if
anyone has any advice or recommendations or possibly an
attorney to consult. I would greatly appreciate it. I live
    in Florida. Thank you
