Posted by Barbara Robertson on 3/27/13

I received large third degree burns to right thigh and
rearend from a Sunbeam/Walgreens heating pad
malfunction.that overheated , and the auto shut off did not
work. It appears in looking thru the internet that there
are hundreds, if not thousands of similar injuries. Was
there any class action suit? Has anyone else filed suit
and received any just compensation. Just wondering if
Sunbeam/Walgreens have really great lawyers,or what as
these defective heating pads are still being sold. I had a
burn that wen through all my skin to the muscle, and still
cannot sit comfortably 4 months post accident. I would
love to hear what has happened with any lawsuits and
results that other burn victims have experienced as a
result of Sunbeam/Walgreens malfunctioning heating pads.
