I was going to purchase another Warner Steel Ladder when I
came across this problem with Model S2208 Junk and was
wondering if mine is safe even though it is a Mark 5 2005
I installed this ladder 10 years ago and the only problem I
had was with the crank mechanism that keeps it up and in
place. Are all S 2008 ladders junk. norm
