Post: Theory

Hi,
I am a former CR student from many years ago who has
decided to try either notereading or scoping to supplement
my normal full-time income. I am re-training with my old
theory which is StenEd-type theory and my old English
workbooks. I am truly enjoying this.
Is StenEd the most common theory out there? I have heard
of the Phoenix theory and there is also another one that
is taught online at the Santa Barbara CR school. I dropped
out of Bryan College in LA when I was writing at 115 wpm
for personal choices, not because of the program. I
thought that they had their own theory but was told by
someone that they use StenEd. Do these different theories
blend with each other? Can someone who learns StenEd read
Phoenix theory?
I ask because I would like to take a notereading/English
course after I review my original theory. I have
researched at-home scoping programs. Most teach StenEd
with the exception of one scoping school, and she seems to
be more diverse with theory. She was talking about a
theory that uses either a prefix or suffix to some normal
multi-stroked words. Does this make sense?
Any suggestions on learning theory would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks-Mary
