PROOFREADER:
I am currently proofreading for three court
reporters, one of whom has taken a teaching job and is not
able to give me the work she used to. I am retired after a
30-year career as legal secretary in the court system.
Prior to that position, I taught secondary school English
for five years. I have now been proofreading part time for
the past four years.
I return finished transcripts quickly, am available for
rush work most of the time, have reasonable rates, and with
both the English and court background, I do accurate,
careful work. I would like one more reporter to work with
on a permanent basis.
In responding to this by e-mail, please include the
word “proofreading” in the RE: line, or the mail won’t be
opened, and we’ll miss an opportunity to work together.
